Hot Air Ballooning in Goa – Stay at Resorte Village Royale and fly in Balloon.

Hot air ballooning is an out of this world experience. As the balloon lifts up, from Chandor in South Goa, it does not lift just your body but it gives you a feeling of elation as it lifts your Soul & Spirit off the ground.

Hot Air – That’s all there is to this technology.

The entire rubberised balloon is first filled with normal temperature air and this is done with motorized fans. Once the rubber balloon is inflated, then the inbuilt propane gas burners are ignited to cause a blast of fire directed towards the opening mouth of the balloon. Once the balloon filled with air is heated to the right temperature then the balloon is ready for its flight over the coastline or interiors of Goa. The large sized hot air balloon is fitted to a luxurious “Wicker” basket this is strong enough to carry loads of human passengers on this flight of fantasy in Goa.

Get blown away in a hot air balloon over Goan skies.

Sea Plane Tours in Goa – Stay at Resorte Village Royale and enjoy Sea Plane Tour in Goa.

Tourists longing for of getting a bird's eye view of Goa's spectacular natural beauty can look forward to aexhilarating involvement as the state of Goa is set to launch a seaplane facility in August 2016 this year.

"It is a novel concept in India, which combines convenience of travel with excitement of water takeoffs and landings. There is no investment by the state government for this service; it will be owned and operated by Mehair (a private aviation company). We are only providing them support to facilitate smooth operations," Parulekar said. Goa is the second state after Maharashtra to allow seaplanes for tourism.

The seaplane routes start from Goa's Dabolim airport to the picturesque Mandovi and Chapora rivers and the popular Coco beach, a beautiful bay some distance from Panaji.

The 9-seater amphibious seaplane in Goa will pick up passengers at Dabolim International airport and will flutter them over the Goan skies to the endpoint, for instance Coco beach, at Nerul village near Candolim beach in North Goa in just seven minutes. The seaplane will land in the Sea water close to a floating jetty, onto which the passengers will alight. Smaller boats will then ferry them to shore from where they can drive away.

Helicopter Joy Ride in Goa

Feel like a Mafia while whizzing the skies of Goa from the noisy confines of a Helicopter capturing the skies of Goa. Helicopter rides are no longer the confines of Bollywood and Hollywood stars. The whine of the rotors chopping the wind and the remarkable views of the Goan countryside below has made this adventure activity particularly popular.

Thanks to the Company of Pawan Hans, a premiere helicopter company and largest helicopter operator in India, has joined hands with the government of Goa to bring helicopter joy rides to Goa.

The main difference comes into play at the time of take-off and landing. Unlike planes, choppers are vertical flight crafts and experienced fliers have described the sensation as being similar to that of riding in an elevator. In a commercial jet you would get the feeling of being pushed back into your seat, in a helicopter, it is more like being pushed downwards during take-off. Upon landing if the descent is very fast you might experience a slightly uncomfortable ‘stomach in throat’ feeling, but this is rare in sightseeing tours and joy rides.

The adventure begins from the Luxurious Park Hyatt Resort at Cansaulim, from where you will proceed to fly over the Pristine beaches of Arossim, Majorda, Betalbatim, Colva, Benaulim and Varca.

What to expect at a Helicopter ride in Goa:

  • Safety gear
  • Flight Briefing
  • Scenic Flight over the Southern coast line of Goa covering the beaches of Arrossim, Majorda, Betalbatim, Colva, Benaulim and Varca.
  • Park Hyatt at Arrossim Beach in South Goais the point of origin for the Helicopter flight in Goa
